Introducing Michael Gault
Michael Gault is a professional artist, who has resided in Colorado for almost 30 years. He has a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and a MA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He has taught workshops as well as college courses on painting, drawing, printmaking, plein air, design, computer graphics, art appreciation and art history.
His primary art process of choice is oil painting. His traditional training came with a passion for all things landscape, although still-life & portraits have been a prominent part of his journey. In recent years Gault has developed his non-representational skills with a pursuit & focus of utilization of light, color and space.
Michael's gallery exhibitions began early in his career with representation in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, California, Arizona, Illinois, New Mexico & Wyoming. He has participated in plein air shows and competitions, and won numerous awards throughout the years. He has collectors throughout the United States as well as internationally.
